Your choice of country and/or region may change certain factors such as currency, price and product availability.

Running a business application or a critical website is never just 'hosting'.

Between load variations, availability requirements, and specific configuration needs, shared environments quickly show their limitations. You must be able to adapt your infrastructure to your usage, without compromising on performance or control.

Kimsufi servers

A dedicated server designed for your applications.

With a Kimsufi bare metal dedicated server, you maintain control over your environment:

  • guaranteed resources, without sharing.
  • full root access for your configurations.
  • no limitations imposed by a third party.

You evolve your architecture at your own pace. You can add nodes, implement caching, or distribute the load according to your actual needs.

High performance for your applications, at a controlled cost.

balance-2

Performance and costs under control.

You benefit from a clear balance between performance and budget. The servers are designed and operated by OVHcloud, with simple and competitive pricing, without any surprises on the billing side. The result: a reliable infrastructure, with predictable costs from the outset.

piggy-bank-2

Everything you need, from the start.

Your server includes essential services to get started quickly, such as IPv4 and IPv6 addresses, active DDoS protection, unlimited bandwidth, and 500 GB of external storage. For critical environments requiring a comprehensive backup strategy, rely on dedicated backup and recovery to automate your backups.

replication-2

Flexibility on the systems and tools side

Quickly deploy your environment with Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Rocky Linux…) or Windows Server, thanks to a few clicks installation from the client area and available software licenses if necessary. You remain free to choose your technical stack.

Manage multiple projects on a single infrastructure

A single server can host multiple sites or applications. With tools like Plesk or cPanel, you centralise the management of domains, databases, email accounts, and backups. This approach is ideal for agencies, freelancers, or multi-project environments.

Build an infrastructure suited to your application, without imposed technical constraints.

You can freely install your operating system, middleware, and application components thanks to complete root access. To simplify administration, you can deploy cPanel or Plesk in a few minutes from your client area.

For more advanced environments:

  • automate your deployments via the API
  • connect your CI/CD pipelines
  • adapt your architecture as your application evolves

This approach allows you to maintain a consistent, scalable infrastructure aligned with your usage.

Options and services included
500 GB external storage space
Unlimited public and private bandwidth*
A range of memory and storage options.

*Excludes datacentres in the Asia-Pacific region.

Your questions answered

Is a dedicated server suitable for an SME?

Yes, as soon as your activity becomes regular or critical.
If you need stable performance, specific configurations, or a secure environment for your data, a dedicated server quickly becomes more relevant than shared hosting.

How to migrate an existing application?

Start by deploying your environment on the new server, then transfer your data and configuration. Once your tests are validated, simply redirect your DNS to the new infrastructure.

What is the difference with a VPS?

A VPS shares the resources of a server with other users, which can impact performance.
With a bare metal server, you have a dedicated physical machine: stable performance, complete isolation, and total control.

How to manage traffic spikes?

You can add a Load Balancer and quickly deploy new servers via the API.
This allows you to absorb traffic spikes, and then adjust your infrastructure once demand returns to normal.

What about the GDPR?

Kimsufi servers rely on a European infrastructure, with certified data centres and compliance guarantees. You can choose the location of your data and frame its processing through agreements compliant with the GDPR.
